Abstract:Melanoma is a highly malignant epithelial-origin tumor with a high genetic mutation burden and easy metastasis,of which skin cutaneous melanoma accounts for the vast majority. While surgical resection remains the first-line treatment for melanoma, its efficacy is significantly limited in advanced-stage disease.Conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy are limited due to their poor sensi-tivity and obvious toxic side effects. In recent years, the research on targeted therapy and immunotherapy has made rapid progress, and it is closely related to surgical treatment, which can improve patient tolerance and reduce patient mortality.Immunotherapy plays a significant role in the clinical management of melanoma.
