Abstract：Lying ear deformity,characterized by a cranioauricular angle measuring less than 30 degrees,starkly contrasts with protruding ears.Traditionally,surgical correction was predominant.However,with the development of plastic surgery,the injection of hyaluronic acid(HA)to correct Lying ear deformities has been widely applied in clinical practice.These non-surgical alternatives have minimized risks and invasiveness,offering patients a streamlined,accessible,and aesthetically favorable option.This review outlines the concept,anatomical details,and primary correction methods for Lying ear deformities.
