Progress in laser treatment of hypertrophic scar

Abstract：Hypertropic scar(HS)after surgery or burn is a serious problem for many patients,because these scars not only cause some problems of beauty,but also cause functional and psychological burden.At present,it is generally believed that laser has unique ad-vantages in the treatment of HS and is widely used.The common clinical laser treatment methods in recent years include,pulsed dye laser,neodymium doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser,carbon dioxide(CO2)lattice laser,erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser,etc.However,different laser mechanisms vary greatly,so it is necessary to choose according to the patient's condition.This paper reviews differ-ent laser single treatment or combination treatment schemes.
