Research progress of imaging technology in DIEP breast reconstruction

Abstract：Breast reconstruction is a crucial component of postoperative restoration for breast cancer patients.The preoperative planning of breast reconstruction is of paramount importance,the application of stereoscopic visualization technology enhances surgeons'comprehension of vascular anatomy,offering new perspectives and methodologies for breast reconstruction.Surgeons can acquire detailed anatomical information using computer tomography angiography(CTA)techniques before the surgery.Augmented reality(AR)technology enhances preoperative planning efficiency,providing surgeons with an immersive and interactive environment for visualizing and manipu-lating three-dimensional(3D)reconstructions..The application of 3D printing technology enables more precise measurement of breast mor-phology and volume.Therefore,there is tremendous potential for the advancement of preoperative planning in breast reconstruction.
