Abstract:Keloids are fibrotic diseases caused by dysregulation of the wound healing process, with clinical manifestations as site of injury, occasional pain, itching and other discomfort and usually is self-unlimited.In recent years,adipose-derived stem cells exosomes(ADSCs-exo)have been widely used in plastic and reconstructive surgeries.A large number of studies have shown to inhibit KFs formation in a paracrine way. However, the etiology and pathogenesis of keloid are still not clear, the mechanism underlying keloids and the thera-peutic target of ADSCs remains unknown. This article reviews the research progress on signaling pathways of keloids and the application of ADSCs-exo in keloids.
