Advances in radiation-induced skin injury

Abstract：Radiation-induced skin injury(RISI)is defined as skin damage that occurs at the site of exposure when the skin is ex-posed to different doses of radiation.RISI is a common complication after radiotherapy for tumors,which affects the progress of tumor treat-ment and the quality of life of patients.In this review,we summarized the causative factors,clinical presentation,pathogenesis and treat-ment of RISI,with the light of the latest research progress.
