Advances in experimental research on improving the regeneration rate of expanded skin

Abstract：Skin and soft tissue expansion refers to a method of stimulating skin regeneration through mechanical pulling to achieve clinical reconstruction,which can provide skin tissue highly consistent with the color,texture,hierarchical structure and accessory distribu-tion of the defect site,and is widely used in current repair and reconstruction surgery.However,the regenerative capacity of mechanically stretched skin limits its clinical effectiveness.Based on the biological process and regenerative mechanism of skin dilation,this paper re-views the effective methods to improve the efficiency of skin dilation in recent years,such as stem cell transplantation,regulation of macrophage differentiation,application of drugs and molecular materials.
