The significance of facial structure anatomy in the training of cosmetic injection

Abstract：The facial cosmetic injection is one of the important projects in plastic surgery,but there is no standardized operation training in China.Therefore,the Department of Plastic Surgery of Peking Union Medical College Hospital and the Department of Anatomy of Peking Union Medical College cooperate to introduce facial anatomy into the training of cosmetic injections.The facial fat pad and muscle layer as well as the neurovascular distribution are emphasized to strengthen comprehension in injection technique,improve operation safety,reduce postoperative complications,and ultimately improve patient satisfaction.In addition,through this form of training,young physicians can improve their clinical participation and expand their scientific research path.
