Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of narrow spectrum intense pulsed light(DPL 500 nm)on acne erythema. Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,74 patients with facial acne erythema admitted were treated with DPL.According to the patient's condi-tion and the reaction after treatment,a personalized treatment plan of 1 to 3 times will be formulated. One month after the end of all treat-ment courses, the clinician's erythema assessment(CEA)scores were performed before and after treatment, and the CEA scores of the pa-tients before and after treatment were compared. Results Among the 74 patients,19 were treated once;29 cases were treated twice;26 cases were treated 3 times. The effective rate of treatment with 500 nm intense pulsed light was 89.2%(66/74),CEA weight score was(2.69±0.55)before treatment,CEA weight score was reduced to(1.18±0.94)after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant before and after treatment(Z=-7.401,P<0.05).Conclusion Intense pulsed light is safe and effective in the treatment of facial acne ery-thema,with no obvious adverse reactions. It is worth popularizing.
