Research progress on diagnosis and treatment of nasal alar retraction

Abstract：Asa common nasal deformity in clinical practice,the retraction of the nasal margin seriously affects the aesthetic ap-pearance of the patient's nose.Despite the rapid development of nasal plastic surgery in recent years,the treatment of nasal alar retraction remains a challenge in plastic surgery.A comprehensive summary and analysis of the definition,pathogenesis,and treatment plans of nasal alar retraction by scholars at home and abroad in recent years is conducted to further enhance clinical physicians'understanding of nasal alar retraction.
