Clinical application of ultrasound-assisted minimally invasive atherectomy in the treatment of nodules after fat grafting for breast augmentation

Abstract:Objective To provide a minimally invasive and complete treatment plan for the complications of fat nodules after massive fat transplantation breast augmentation surgery.Methods From December 2019 to May 2023,29 patients with nodular compli-cations after fat transplantation breast augmentation surgery were recruited,with a diameter of 1.7 to 3.8 centimeters.The fat nodules were found with ultrasound assistance,and a 3 mm incision was made along the dermal ridge near the nodules.Complete excision of fat nodules using a breast circumcision knife.Results All the patients were followed up for 6 months.Local palpation and B-ultrasound examinations showed recovery after surgery.One patient had a local hematoma complication after surgery,which complete excision of fat nodules using a breast circumcision knife.Conclusion Ultrasound-assisted circumcision knife technique may be the best minimally invasive treatment op-tion for fat nodules after massive fat transplantation breast augmentation surgery.
