Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of VSD-assisted meek skin grafting in human skin wound healing. Methods Twenty-four cases of full-layer skin defects were selected in our department from January 2017 to January 2018.They were divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 12 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with VSD negative pressure suction-assisted Meek skin grafting, and the control group was treated with traditional Meek skin grafting. The survival rate of the grafting skin island, the complication rate, and patient satisfaction were observed after surgery. Results The survival rate of the grafting skin islands was 95.0% in the experimental group and 86.0% in the control group. The complication rate was 8.3% in the experimental group and 25.0% in the control group (1 case and 3 cases). The patient satisfaction was 41 scores in the experimental group and 35 scores in the control group. Conclusion VSD-assisted Meek skin grafting reduces the ~currence of complications, improves the appearance of the surgical area, and improves patients' satisfaction.
