The clinical analysis of surgical therapeutic effect on subungual glomus tumor

Abstract：Objective To explore the result of surgical treatment for subungual glomus tumor.Methods From January 2015 to August 2017,15 cases with subungual glomus tumors were analysed retrospectively.Physical examination combined with MRI was performed for diagnosis.Fifteen patients received vacuum sealing drainage therapy after complete resection of the tumor under a microscope by removing the fingernail.The curative effect was observed and the patients received long-term follow-up after theiroperations.Results Compared with preoperative,all patients' pain,cold sensitivity,and other symptoms completely disappeared without infection ornail bed deformity.Conclusion Using microsurgical techniques combined with vacuum sealing drainage to treat subungual glomus tumor is safe and effective.It should be considered for promotion in clinic.
