Abstract:Objective To wash and screen the adipose tissue obtained from liposuction with a novel vortex filter technique. To evaluate the volume and structural integrity of the adipose tissue mass after screening. Methods Ten females who underwent abdominal liposuction were selected. In each case,20 ml fat was obtained and separated into two groups. In the experimental group,a novel vortex filter technique was used to screen the adipose tissue. In the control group, the adipose tissue was treated with ordinary centrifugation. The living adipose tissue was stained with eosin, and the cross-sectional area of the adipose tissue mass was analyzed by Image J software. Results The average diameter of adipose tissue mass in the control group was (2.5580 ± 2.0805) mm.In the experimental group, the average diameter was (2.0330 ± 0.2352) mm.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The novel vortex filter technique can effectively wash and screen target adipose tissue mass and maintain the complete structure and viability of adipose tissues. It has potential prospect in clinical application.
