Investigation and analysis of the quality of life of female patients with facial allergic dermatosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the influence of facial allergic dermatosis on the quality of life of female patients.Methods In accordance with Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) scores,214 female patients with facial allergic dermatosis and 50 healthy females were selected to complete the questionnaire.Results When itch was aggravated,the quality of life of patients decreased significantly.In different kinds of skin diseases,hormone-dependent dermatitis had the greatest impact on the quality of life.After this,the conditions most affecting quality of life were chronic eczema,sensitive skin,and seborrheic dermatitis.Conclusion Allergic dermatosis significantly affected the quality of life;the more severe the symptoms,the longer the course of the disease and the lower the quality of life.
