Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of CO2 fractional laser combined with ultrasonic drug delivery technology (IMPACT)in the treatment of hypertropic scar, for the purpose of providing important reference information for clinical treatment. Methods From 2014 to 2016,35 patients diagnosed with hypertrophic scar in our hospital were selected and divided into 2 groups. In the control group,15 patients underwent laser treatment alone. In the experimental group,20 patients underwent ultrasonic import glucocorticoid after CO2 fractional laser treatment. All treatments were performed once every 2 to 3 months, and 3 times for each course. The follow-up duration was for 3 months after treatment. Results In the control group,5 cases were significantly improved,in 8 cases the treatment was effective and in 2 cases treatment was ineffective for reduction of scar tissue. In the experimental group,11 cases were significantly improved, treatment was effective in 9 cases. There were no cases in which the treatment showed no effect. The difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Carbon dioxide fractional laser combined with ultrasonic drug delivery technology(IMPACT) can significantly increase the cure rate of hyperplastic scars. This method was safe and reliable, and should be considered for promotion in clinic.
