Application of micro-focused ultrasound for lifting and tightening the face

Abstract：Objective To explore the application and safety of Micro-focused ultrasound (MFU) in improving the tissue of the cheek and the contour of the mandible,as well as reducing the skin tissue below the jaw.Methods Fifty patients were treated with MFU for facial lifting and tightening.Facial contour shapes were compared using photos taken pre-treatment and 6 months post-treatment.Meanwhile,the results of treatment were evaluated.Results A total of 50 patients were followed up from 1 to 6 months.Three cases had varying degrees of nerve damage,7 patients questioned the treatment results.Forty patients were satisfied with the treatment.Conclusion MFU is an effective and safe technology for facial lifting and tightening.Patients showed high personal satisfaction with the treatment.
