Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of liposuction combined with small incision in the treatment of accessory breast. Methods From March 2014 to March 2015,76 cases of accessory breast were enrolled in the study. The clinical data of all patients was retrospectively analyzed.Among them,38 cases underwent liposuction combined with small incision (minimally invasive group),and others underwent traditional incision surgery (traditional group). The clinical effect, complications, and postoperative satisfaction between the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The unilateral operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, and hospitalization time in the minimally invasive group were less than that in the traditional group (P<0.05).During follow-up,the patients' satisfaction rate for postoperative appearance, favorable rate of upper limb activity, and local pain rate of the minimally invasive group were better than that in the traditional group (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of liposuction combined with small incision surgery was reliable, and the trauma was minimal. Not only was the appearance of the local cutis laxa improved and the incision scar hidden, but also the physical activity was unaffected. This method conforms to aesthetic concepts and is feasible for clinical promotion.
