A study of aesthetic outcome evaluation after breast surgery

Abstract：The breast is one of the important secondary sexual characteristics in females,and its attractive appearance plays an important role in females' physiology and psychology.Aesthetic outcome is one of the indexes used to assess different treatment methods and surgeons' skills.It can also provide a reference for the necessity of further mammoplasty.Unfortunately,a complete and precise evaluation system for aesthetic outcome has not been created.On the basis of our clinical experience and observation,comprehensive consideration of various factors on aesthetic outcome in breast reconstructive surgery references multiple relative evaluation systems and suggestions.This article provides a comprehensive evaluation standard on the post-surgical appearance of the reconstructed breast.
