Abstract:Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of the fractional radio frequency system and mini-incision surgery in the treatment of axillary osmidrosis. Methods From June 2015 to March 2016,60 cases were collected our hospital in accordance with clinical observation conditions. All patients volunteered to be divided into 2 groups of 30 cases each. The experimental group underwent fractional radio frequency system and the control group underwent mini-incision surgery. All patients were followed up from 4 months to 8 months postoperative.Adverse reactions and patients' satisfaction were recorded and analyzed. Results All patients finished the treatment. The cure rate of the experimental group was 73.30%,while the control group was 93.30%.The recurrence rate of the experimental group was 10.00%,and the control group was 3.33%.Conclusion Although the efficacy of the fractional radio frequency system cannot equal that of mini-incision surgery,it is characterized by less trauma, fewer complications, faster recovery and better appearance. It is advisable to choose treatment method based on the symptoms of axillary osmidrosis and the patients' requests. The fractional radio frequency system is a good choice for patients with mild to moderate axillary osmidrosis.
