Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of intralesional triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with CO2 fractional laser in the therapy of hypertrophic scars. Methods A total of 135 patients with hypertrophic scars were selected from January 2015 to September 2015.They were randomly divided into three groups:an observation group, control group A and control group B,with 45 patients in each group, according to the random number table method.Triamcinolone acetonide and lidocaine mixture was given to control group A with a dosage of 0.2 ml/cm2.CO2 fractional laser treatment was given to control group B once every 4 weeks and 6 times for a course. The observation group was given intralesional triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with CO2 fractional laser treatment. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the three groups at the same time, changes of the scar thickness,VSS score, and adverse reactions after treatment were recorded and compared. Results The total efficacy rate was 97.78% in the observation group,86.67% in control group A and 82.22% in control group B.The clinical efficacy rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of control group A or B.The differences between the observation and control groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).The improvement of scar thickness and VSS score of the observation group was better than the other two groups, and the difference among the three groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group and control group B was significandy lower than that in control group A.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion This study proves the efficacy of triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with CO2 lattice laser for the treatment of hypertrophic scar. The application of triamcinolone acetonide injection combined with CO2 fractional laser in the treatment of hyperplasia scars can reduce scar thickness and VSS score, improve the treatment efficiency, and decrease adverse reactions. This method should be promoted in clinic.
