Experience of filling facial depression with autologous fat granule by the static method

Abstract：Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of autologous fat granule by the static method in face filling.Methods The clinical data of 25 patients with depression or deformity of the forehead,cheek,periorbital,chin,and temporal regionwere collected.Autologous fat granules were harvested from the thighs anddealed with the static method and purification.More than 20％～30％ fat granule was injected into the facial marking regions by multiple levels and tunnels.Each patient was filled 1 to 3 times with an interval 3 to 6 months.The efficacy was evaluated by comparing with the pre-and postoperative photos,fat absorption degree,and patients' self-evaluation.Results A total of 25 patients with 86 filling sites were followed up from 3 to 24 months.No fat liquefaction,infection,or other serious complications have been observed.The total satisfactionrate was 77.9％,and the basic satisfaction ratewas 20.9％.Conclusion The application of autologous fat granule by the static method in facial depression filling and facial contouring has a number of advantages,the operation issimple,minimally invasive,and achieved satisfactory results.It is easily accepted by patients,with an ideal effect.
