The application of plastic surgery in local skin complications caused by facial injection

Abstract：Objective To explore the treatment effect of local facial skin edema,hemodynamic disorder,and even skin necrosis after facial injection.Methods From February 2014 to March 2015,132 patients with local skin edema and hemodynamic disorder were observed.Among them,127 cases were injected with hyaluronic acid and 5 cases were injected with collagen.All of them were treated with plastic surgery to protect the wound,debridement,and anti-scar treatment.Results One hundred and thirty-two patients were followed up for 1 to 1.5 years.Among them,112 cases were satisfied with the results.There are no scar remains or only slight pigmentation.Slight scars occurred in 16 cases,and 4 cases were with scar hyperplasia,associated with local tissue defect.Conclnsion In the treatment of skin injury after facial injection,the application of plastic surgery has a positive effect on the facial contour and functional recovery.Plastic surgery treatment techniques can significantly improve the patients' satisfaction.
