Abstract:Objective To discuss the long-lasting aesthetic effect of face and neck lift using the buried-guided-suture tech-nique. Method Based on the skull, a network suspension fixation was three-dimensionally sutured above and below the epicra-nialaponeurois by using the buried-guided-suture technique, with a focus on sharing the gravitationalforce. The gravitational load could be shared by suture on the X-axis and Z-axis. The lax soft tissue of the face was wholly lifted on the Y-axis. Result From 2002 to May 2016, 580 cases underwent surgery using this method. The longest follow-up was 13 years. The fixation was firm and all patients were satisfied with the face and neck lift surgery. There were no complications such as facial scar, alopecia and blood vessels or nerve damage. Conclusion Face and neck lift can be secured with three-dimensional network fixation by using the buried-guided-suture technique. This technique conforms to mechanical principles and is a safe, effective method with long-lasting aesthetic effect.
