Clinical observation on analgesia effect of ropivacaine mesylate after liposuction

Abstract：Objective To explore the analgesia effect of ropivacaine which was used in liposuction. Methods 226 patients were included and divided into experimental group and control group at radom.In experimental group,ropivacaine was add into the swelling liquid;while in control group,lidocaine was added instead.After 4,8,12,1 6,20,24,28,32,36,40 h since operation,the sense of pain were ra-ted based on the visual analog scales,and the breathing,blood pressure,heart rate,nausea and vomiting were recorded.The patients whose score >8 took painkiller in addition for the pain.Results The visual analog scales scores of experimental group with ropivacaine mesylate in liposuction were significantly lower than those of control group.Conclusion Ropivacaine mesylate,which was added into the swelling liquid durring liposuction,has a long-term postoperative analgesic effect.
