Application of homemade built-in dental pad compressive tracheal catheter in maxillofacial cosmetic operation

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect and feasibility of compressive tracheal catheter with internal fixation device (homemade built-in dental pad compressive tracheal catheter)of application in maxillofacial surgery operation.Methods Introduction of making and clinical applcation of homemade built-in dental pad compressive tracheal catheter.And in the clinical trials,ASA Ⅰ,Ⅱ 21 6 cases of maxillofacial surgery operation with general anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups,built-in dental pad group (group A)and traditional built-out dental pad group (group B).The orotracheal intu-bation fixation and extracting the tube using time in the two groups were recorded,and the compressive tracheal catheter slipping outwardly,compressive tracheal catheter kinking and postoperative local skin mucous membrane irritation,a sore throat,hoarseness,throat and bronchial spasm and tracheal stenosis were also observed.Results Compared with B group,A group has the advantages of simple operation, less local irritation,catheter slipping outwardly shift less risk,but there was no differences between two groups in complications of endotracheal intubation.Conclusion The built-in dental pad compressive tra-cheal catheter convenience good for maxillofacial cosmetic operation because of simple manufacture, small influence on the operation,positive clinical effect.
