Blepharoplasty in blepharochalasis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the differential diagnosis between blepharochalasis and bermotochalasis, as well as surgical procedure principles. Methods An innovational technique was used to treat blepharochalasis. Results A total of 15 patients underwent blepharoplasty and follow-up 2 to 5 years with satisfactory results. Conclusion Blepharochalasis is an eyelid disorder differing from aging eyelid-dermatochalasis. The anatomic characteristics are an important aspect when diagnosis and doing procedures for them.
