Clinical study with polyacrylamide hydrogel
Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection into penile subfascial compartment. Methods Using syringe needle to enter sub fascial compartment through both sides of penis and injecting polyacrylamide hydrogel radically and evenly. Results 22 cases had undergone penis thickening by polyacrylamide hydrogel injection, there was no toxic reaction. Thin cyst wall was formed and surounded the gel about 2 moths postoperatively. Conclusion Polyacrylamide hydrogel is a good soft tissue filling agent for penis thickening with good biocompatibility at present.
