Endoscopic rhytidectomy
Abstract：Objective Endoscopic technique is used in face lift with mini-invasion rapid recovery and wonderful result in aesthetic surgery. Methods 30° hard endoscope and operative instrument set were used in order as: stripping, muscle cutting or resection, hemostasis, suspension and fixation. Results 62 cases of this group were fronto-temporo-facial rhytidectomy. Short and long term results were both good in majority of cases(90.4 percent). Facial nerve injury occured in 5 cases(8 percent). Conclusion The result of frontotemporal rhytidectomy with endoscope is superior than traditional standard technique, but in case of facial rhytidectomy the result is worse than standard SMAS-platysma technique.
