Results discussion of combined detection of coagulation four items,D-dimer and platelet indexes in pregnant women before delivery

Abstract：Objective To explore the combined detection results of coagulation four items,D-dimer and platelet indexes before delivery,and evaluate the risk of maternal coagulation of parturients.Methods The 40 parturients admitted to Jinxiang County People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as research subjects and included in observation group.Additionally,40 non pregnant women undergoing health check-ups during the same period were selected as control group.Using fully automated blood coagulation analyzer,all subjects were tested for coagulation four items[thrombin time(TT),prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)and fibrinogen(FIB)]and D-dimer.Platelet indicators[platelet count(PLT)and mean platelet volume(MPV)]were detected using fully automated blood analyzer.The differences in the levels of above indicators between two groups were analyzed and compared.Results The levels of coagulation indexes TT,PT and APTT were significantly lower than those in control group,and the level of FIB was significantly higher than that in control group[TT(s):12.13±1.05 vs.13.86±1.38;PT(s):10.16±1.26 vs.12.75±1.75;APTT(s):28.08±2.33 vs.31.69±3.56;FIB(g/L):424.63±52.43 vs.274.25±32.28;all P<0.05].The level of D-dimer was significantly higher in observation group than that in control group(μg/L:766.59±44.38 vs.366.69±31.43,P<0.05).The level of PLT in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group,and the level of MPV was significantly higher than that in control group[PLT(×109/L):172.27±21.32 vs.213.86±25.64;MPV(fL):10.65±1.16 vs.8.86±0.98;both P<0.05].Conclusion The combined detection of coagulation four items,D-dimer and platelet indexes before delivery could help clinicians to evaluate the coagulation function of pregnant women and predict the possible coagulation-related risk during delivery,which has a positive impact on clinical practice.
