Abstract:Objective To explore the levels of inflammatory indexes in peripheral blood of patients with mycoplasma pneumonia and the correlation with disease severity. Methods The 80 patients with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to Shanxian County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as observation group, and according to disease severity, the patients were divided into mild group(48 cases)and severe group(32 cases). In the same period,80 healthy subjects were selected as control group. All subjects were tested for serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP)and white blood cell count(WBC),and the differences of above indicators between observation group and control group,as well as patients with different disease severity were compared. The progression stages of severe patients were divided into acute stage and recovery stage, and the detection results of inflammatory indexes in different stages were observed and compared. Results The serum levels of IL-6,IL-10,TNF-α,CRP and WBC in observation group were higher than those in control group[IL-6(ng/L):26.76±4.02 vs.11.97±2.54;IL-10(ng/L):22.94±4.11 vs.12.37±3.59;TNF-α(ng/L):34.27±5.35 vs.14.72±3.60;CRP(mg/L):15.67±3.45 vs.4.06±1.33;WBC(×109/L):14.54±2.42 vs.6.89±1.67;all P<0.05].The levels of inflammatory indexes in peripheral blood of severe patients were higher than those of mild patients, and the levels of inflammatory indexes in peripheral blood of severe patients in acute stage were higher than those in recovery stage, with statistical significance. Conclusion Patients with mycoplasma pneumonia may have abnormally high levels of inflammatory indexes in peripheral blood, and the more serious the disease is,the higher the levels of inflammatory indexes are, which could be used to evaluate the severity and progress of disease.
