Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between serum hydrogen sulfide and H type hy-pertension. Methods 80 cases patients with type H hypertension were selected (hypertension group) in our hospital from January 2014 to June 2014. At the same time , 80 cases healthy people were collected as control group. The blood pressure, serum hydrogen sulfide(H2S) and homocysteine(Hcy) were detected, and all data were analyzed statistically. Results The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and concentration of Hcy in hy-pertension group were all higher than that of control group, and the concentration of H2S were lower than that of control group. The differences all had statistical significance (Pall< 0.05). The correlation analysis results showed that serum H2S had negative correlation with systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and serum Hcy (r=-0.987, r=-0.981, r=-0.991, Pall<0.05). Conclusion The concentration of serum H2S in type H hyperten-sion patients is reduced, and the concentration of serum Hcy is increased. The concentration of serum H2S in type H hypertension patients have negative correlation with blood pressure and serum Hcy. So monitoring the concentration of H2S will help clinical to estimate severity and assess prognosis of type H hypertension disease.
