Abstract:Aiming at the difficult recovery and low catalytic activity of triphenylphosphine, the high crystallization carbon modified by hydrogen peroxide was taken as the carrier. The triphenylphosphine-potassium alum/high crystallization carbon composite catalyst was prepared with two-step impregnation method, and was used to catalyze the synthesis reaction of chalcone. The properties of samples were characterized with BET adsorption method, Boehm titration method, scanning electron microscope (SEM), X ray diffractometer(XRD),X ray photoelectron spectroscope and gas chromatograph. The results show that the surface oxygen functional groups of high crystallization carbon modified by hydrogen peroxide become 1.91 times as those under the deionized water condition, and the triphenylphosphine-potassium alum combines with the carrier through the chemical adsorption. The composite catalyst with acid-alkali double active centers has higher catalytic activity for the synthesis of chalcone.Furthermore, the selectivity of products is 97%,the yield is 88.3%,and the composite catalyst can be repeatedly used for more than 3 times.
