Abstract：This paper generally introduced the present situation and domestic and abroad developing trends of surface treatment of stainless steel at present, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of existing surface treatment technologies of stainless steel, pointed out that colored stainless steel have good prospect, concluded that laser surface treatment technology and ion implantation technology becomes developing direction of modern surface treatment of stainless steel.
