Behavior of titanium in molten steel

Abstract：The obtained research results on the behavior of titanium in molten steel are described. The results include deoxygenating ability, desulphrizing ability of titanium and its effect on inclusion in the molten steel. The results are of great importance in smelting titanium-added steel, controlling morphology of inclusion in steel, improving on quality of continuous cast products, working out heat treatment and rolling process.
