Repair of Meniscal Cleavage Tears with Fibrin Clots and FasT-Fix

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of fiber blood clot plugging combined with arthroscopic FasT-Fix su-ture in the treatment of the tear of the body of the meniscus. Methods The clinical study of the effect of fiber blood clot plug-ging combineing with Fast-Fix suture under arthroscopy in the treatment of the tear of the body of the meniscus was performed in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from May 2014 to May 2015. IKDC score,Lysholm score,Tegner score were recorded on patients. Results All patients were followed up for an average of 11 months(10 ~ 13 months). Preop-erative IKDC score was(37. 7 ± 15. 4),and the last follow-up was(83. 1 ± 12. 3). Lysholm score was(39. 9 ± 18. 1),the last follow-up was(83. 9 ± 13. 9). Tegner score was(3. 1 ± 1. 8),the last follow-up was(6. 2 ± 2. 2). At the last follow-up,the IK-DC score,Lysholm score and Tegner score were significantly improved. The difference of preoperation and postoperation was statistically significant(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion The effect of fiber blood clot plugging combined with arthroscopic FasT-Fix was good in treatment of menicus body tear.
