Curative Effect of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Theatment of Schatzker Type Ⅲ Tibial Plateau Fracture under Arthroscope

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of arthroscopic assisted minimally invasive reduction and internal fixation for the treatment of Schatzker type tibial plateau fractures. Methods In February 2009 to 2013 years 2 months,a total of 62 cases of Schatzker type Ⅲ tibial plateau fracture patients included in this study. According to the methods of treatment, the patients were is divided into traditional group(open reduction and internal fixation,34 cases)arthroscopy group(arthroscopy assisted minimally invasive reduction and internal fixation for the treatment,28 cases). We compared two groups of patients with operation time,intraoperative bleeding volume,length of incision,postoperative drainage volume,out of bed activity time, and function of the knee joint(Rasmussen score). Results In arthroscopy group,operation time(84. 8 ± 14. 7)min,intraop-erative bleeding volume(45. 2 ± 11. 5)mL,incision length(5. 6 ± 2. 1)cm,operation rate(36. 7 ± 11. 9)mL,out of bed activ-ity time of(3. 2 ± 1. 0)d,were significantly lower than that in the traditional group,and the difference had statistical signifi-cance(P < 0. 05). After operation,the patients in the two groups after full weight-bearing time differences had no statistical sig-nificance(P > 0. 05). There was no significant difference in the score of knee joint function Rasmussen score and clinical ex-cellent rate between the arthroscopic and conventional groups at third months,6 months,and the last follow-up(P > 0. 05). Conclusion Using arthroscopic assisted minimally invasive reduction and internal fixation,traditional open reduction and in-ternal fixation for the treatment of Schatzker type Ⅲ tibial plateau fractures can obtain satisfactory clinical efficacy,but the for-mer has short operation time,less surgical trauma and fast postoperative functional recovery.
