Complications and Countermeasures in Treatment of Humeral Shaft Fracture by Minimally Invasive Plate
Abstract:Objective To explore the related factors of complications of minimally invasive percutaneous plate in treatment of humeral shaft fracture and its countermeasures. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for minimally invasive plate of surgical treatment of 166 cases of humeral shaft in our hospital between January 2008 and May 2014 in our hospital. The possible influence of the postoperative complications of the various factors of single factor analysis and multi factor Logistic were analyzed, and the corresponding countermeasures were proposed. Results The results from single factor analysis showed there was signigicant difference between patients with and without complications,in age, nutritional status, combined with other diseases of internal medicine, primary fracture types(P﹤0. 05);while in the injury to operation time, operation time, gender, fracture position, anesthesia between the two groups of patients, there was no statistical significant difference(P﹥0. 05). Multi factor analysis showed that the nutritional status, combined with other diseases of internal disease and age entered the regres-sion model(P﹤0. 05),independent risk factors for the effect of minimally invasive plate in treatment of humeral shaft frac-tures in patients with postoperative complications. Conclusion Postoperative complications may be associated with nutritional status, internal disease and advanced age during the treatment of minimally invasive plate for humeral shaft fracture. We should pay attention to these risk factors, but also need to pay attention to the correct function exercise on the operation specification, postoperative, taking place as much as possible to reduce the postoperative complications.
