Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of continuous monitoring of multi-biochemical indexes on evaluating the degrees of trauma for patients with traumatic fractures. Methods There were 66 patients with traumatic fractures who were enrolled from December 2011 to February 2013 in our hospital. Based on the AIS-ISS 90 score classification of serious injury, they were divided into the group of serious injury(n = 42)and group of minor injury(n = 24). Continuous monitoring of blood biochemical indexes were undertaken and compared for the two groups. Results The levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),glu-cose(Glu),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin M(IgM),C3 and C4 ,were statistically different for the two groups(all P ﹤ 0. 05). Moreover, the CRP,CKMB,LDH and GLU obviously correlated to the degrees of trauma. Conclusion Continuous monitoring of blood biochemical indexes were vital for evaluating the degrees of trauma and their prognosis for patients with traumatic fractures.
