Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of risk management based on the modified early warning score in the ob-servation of patients with acute bronchitis. Methods:A total of 100 patients with acute bronchitis under observation who were diagnosed and treated in hospital from December 2022 to October 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The conventional group was given the conventional management mode, while the observation group was given risk screening intervention. The rehabilita-tion process, nursing quality, quality of life and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The time for fever to subside, cough to disappear, wheezing to disappear, lung moist rales to disappear, blood oxy-gen saturation(SpO2)to stabilize and observation time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The identification rate of high-risk patients, the qual-ified rate of respiratory tract management, and the medication compliance in the observation group were all higher than those in the conventional group. The screening response time was shorter than that in the conventional group, and the clinical deterioration rate was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of the comprehensive quality of life questionnaire(GQOLI-74)in the observation group were all higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the con-ventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Risk screening intervention has a better effect on promoting the rehabilitation process of patients under observation for acute bronchitis. It can effectively improve the quality of nursing, enhance the quality of life of patients, and reduce the incidence of complications.
