The impact of four seed powder hot compress on preoperative anxiety and postoperative recovery in hemorrhoidectomy patients before anesthesia

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of four seeds cooling compress on preoperative anxiety and postoperative recovery of hemorrhoidectomy patients.Methods:Eighty-four patients who were admitted to the first affiliated hospi-tal of yangtze university from December 2024 to March 2025 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 42 patients in each group.Before operation,the control group was given routine care,and the observation group was given four seeds of cooling compress on the basis of the control group.The preoperative anxiety,postopera-tive recovery and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After nursing,the human anti mouse antibodies(HAMA)score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistical sig-nificance(P<0.05).The first drinking time,first eating time and first getting cut of bed time of patients in the obser-vation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in nursing satisfaction between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Four seeds cooling compress is helpful to relieve preoperative anxiety and promote postoperative rehabilitation.
