Abstract:Objective:To explore the correlation between the detection of irregular antibodies in the Rh system of pregnant women during the perinatal period and hemolytic disease of the newborn. Methods:A retrospective selection was made of 136 perinatal pregnant women with positive irregular antibodies from August 2020 to December 2024 as the research subjects, and the specific distribution of Rh irregular antibodies was statistically analyzed. The relationship between Rh blood group irregular antibodies in perinatal pregnant women and the occurrence of hemolytic disease of the newborn was also analyzed. Results:Among 136 pregnant women with positive irregular antibodies during the perinatal period,86 cases were found to have Rh blood type irregular antibodies, including 30 cases(22.05%)of IgG anti-E,40 cases(29.41%)of IgG anti-D,9 cases(6.61%)of IgG anti-C,and 7 cases(5.14%)of IgG anti-cE.There was no statistical significant difference in the detection of Rh irregular antibodies among pregnant women with different preg-nancies,parity,and transfusion histories during the perinatal period(P>0.05).Among 86 pregnant women with Rh blood type irregular antibodies during the perinatal period,45 newborns gave birth to hemolytic disease, including 14 ca-ses(16.28%)of IgG anti-D,27 cases(31.40%)of IgG anti-E,and 4 cases(4.65%)of IgG anti-C.The propor-tion of Rh blood type irregular antibodies IgG anti-D and IgG anti-E in the affected group was higher than that in the non affected group, with statistical significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The positive detection of irregular an-tibodies in Rh system serum of pregnant women during the perinatal period is related to the occurrence of hemolytic disease in newborns, which is helpful for the early assessment of hemolytic disease in newborns in clinical practice.
