Abstract:Objective:To explore and analyze the clinical effect of using recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel(bFGF)combined with xenogeneic acellular dermal matrix(ADM)in the repair of deep second-degree burn wounds. Methods:A total of 120 patients with deep second-degree burn wounds treated in Jiujiang First People's Hos-pital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the observation subjects.According to the random number ta-ble method, the 120 cases were divided into the study group(bFGF combined with ADM),control group 1(ADM a-lone),and control group 2(bFGF alone),with 40 cases in each group. The wound healing time, wound healing rate, wound infection rate,post-healing scar condition[vancouver scar scale(VSS)],drug adverse reactions, reoperation rate, and white blood cell count(WBC)were compared among the three groups. Results:The wound healing time in the study group was shorter than that in control group 1 and control group 2,and the statistical were significant(P<0.05).The wound healing rates in the study group on the 7th,14th,and 21st days after medication were higher than those in con-trol group 1 and control group 2,and the statistical were significant(P<0.05).The wound infection rates in the study group on the 7th,14th,and 21st days after medication were lower than those in control group 1 and control group 2,and the statistical were significant(P<0.05).The VSS scores in all dimensions in the study group at 6 months after repair were lower than those in control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).After treatment the WBC levels in the study group were lower than those in control group 1 and control group 2,and the control group 1 lower than control group 2(P<0.05).The incidence of drug adverse reactions and reoperation rate in the study group were lower than those in control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of bFGF combined with ADM in the repair of deep second-degree burn wounds can significantly shorten the wound healing time, reduce the wound infection rate and reo-peration rate, alleviate the inflammatory response, promote wound healing, and improve the aesthetic appearance of the repair, with high safety.
