Effects of psychological intervention combined with early adaptation intervention on self—care ability and adaptation level of rectal stoma patients

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of psychological intervention combined with early adaptation inter-vention on the self-care ability and adaptation level of rectal stoma patients.Methods:All 80 cases of rectal stoma pa-tients admitted to the first people's hospital of fuzhou city from March 2022 to May 2024 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group.The control group received routine nursing,the observation group received psychological intervention combined with early adaptation intervention on the basis of the control group.The depres-sion,anxiety,self-care ability and adaptability of the two groups were compared.Results:After the intervention,the scores of hamilton depression scale-17(HAMD-17)and hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)in both groups were lower than those before the intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention,the scores of self-care competency assessment scale(ESCA)and ostomy patient adaptation inventory(OAI)in both groups were higher than those before the intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion:Psychological intervention combined with early adaptation intervention can reduce the negative emotions of rec-tal stoma patients and improve their self-care ability and adaptation level.
