Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of short-term personalized vestibular rehabilitation training under su-pervision in patients with decompensated recurrent peripheral vertigo. Methods:According to the random number table method,116 patients with decompensated recurrent peripheral vertigo who visited the hospital from November 2023 to November 2024 were divided into the control group(58 cases were given fixed vestibular rehabilitation training)and the supervision group(58 cases were given short-term individualized vestibular rehabilitation training under supervi-sion).After 2 months of intervention, the assessment results of the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),visceral sensi-tivity index(VSI),sensory structure test, activity balance confidence scale(ABC),and hamilton anxiety scale(HAMD)were compared between the two groups. Results:The scores of DHI,VSI and HAMD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after 1 month and 2 months of intervention, the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of ABC in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after 1 month and 2 months of intervention, the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, there were no statisti-cally significant differences in proprioceptive and visual scores between the two groups in the left-right and anterior-posterior directions(P>0.05).After the intervention, the vestibular sensation scores in the left-right and anterior-posterior directions increased in both groups compared to pre-intervention levels, with the observation group showing higher scores than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Short-term individualized vestibular rehabilitation training under supervision can effectively improve vestibular function,pro-mote vestibular compensation, relieve anxiety and enhance balance confidence in patients with decompensated recurrent peripheral vertigo.
