Study and effect observation of preoperative localization method of ureteroabdominal wall stoma with total cystectomy

Abstract：Objective:To explore the preoperative localization method and application effect of ureteroabdominal wall stoma with total bladder excision.Methods:All 82 bladder cancer patients who underwent elective total cystectomy with uretero—abdominal wall stoma were selected from April 2022 to February 2024,and were divided into the control group(41 cases)and the experimental group(41 cases)according to the method of randomized table.The control group used conventional intraoperative localization,and the experimental group used preoperative localization;the post-operative complications,self-care ability,and the quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results:The inci-dence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the scores of self-care a-bility assessment scale(ESCA)and quality of life scale for ostomy patients(Stoma-QOL)were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The preoperative localization of ureteroabdominal wall stoma for total bladder resection can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,improve self-care abili-ty,and improve the quality of life of patients.
