Effect of cognitive behavioral intervention based on IMB model on psychological resilience and recur-rence rate of glaucoma patients

Abstract：Objective:To explore the impact of cognitive behavioral intervention based on the information motivation behavioral skills(IMB)model on the psychological resilience and recurrence rate of glaucoma patients.Methods:Ac-cording to the random number table method,90 glaucoma patients who visited Tingzhou Hospital from July 2021 to De-cember 2023 were divided into conventional group and IMB group,45 cases in each group.The intraocular pressure in-tervention time,psychological resilience and self-management ability were compared between the two groups.Followed up for half a year,the recurrence blindness rate and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results:The inter-vention time for intraocular pressure in the IMB group was shorter than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).The scores of various dimensions in the concussion decision rules(CD-RISC)psychological resilience scale,the scores of various items in the glaucoma self-management behavior questionnaire and the life scale score of low vision quality of the IMB group were higher than those of the conventional group(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of glaucoma in the IMB group was lower than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the blind-ness rate of glaucoma between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Cognitive behavioral intervention based on IMB model can improve self-management ability and quality of life of glaucoma patients,shorten intraocular pressure con-trol time,enhance patients' psychological resilience,and reduce recurrence rate.
