Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture combined with banxia baizhu tianma decoction in treating headache during the recovery phase of ischemic stroke.Methods:Eighty-two pa-tients with post-ischemic stroke headache admitted to hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were randomly divided into two groups,41 cases in each group. The control group received conventional symptomatic therapy and oral flunarizine hydrochloride, while the observation group received additional midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture and banxia baizhu tianma decoction for 20 days.Efficacy, pain intensity[visual analogue scale(VAS)],clinical symptom scores, and adverse reactions were compared. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score and clinical symptom score of the two groups decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture and banxia baizhu tianma decoction effectively alleviates headache severity and frequency in post-ischemic stroke recovery patients, with a favorable safety profile.
