Efficacy of tianmeng oral liquid in the treatment of adolescent depression

Abstract：Objective:To study the efficacy Tianmeng oral liquid as an adjunctive therapy for fluvoxamine in the treatment of adolescent depression.Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with depression admitted to Anyang Peo-ple's Hospital from August 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into observation group(n=52,treated with Tianmeng Oral Liquid combined with fluvoxamine)and control group(n=48,treated with fluvoxamine)according to different treatment methods.The treatment effect,depression degree,sleep quality,quality of life and adverse reac-tions were compared between the two groups.Results:There was no significant difference in clinical efficacy and inci-dence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of depres-sion and sleep quality in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of quality of life were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The application of Tianmeng oral liquid combined with fluvoxamine in the treatment of adolescent depression patients can improve the de-gree of depression,and improve sleep quality and quality of life.
