Abstract:Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of Celecoxib and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(ibuprofen)in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:All 120 patients with RA admitted to the Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine affiliated to Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to April 2024 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 60 pa-tients in each group. The control group was treated with ibuprofen, while the observation group was treated with cele-coxib,and the clinical effects of different treatment schemes were analyzed. Results:After treatment, the scores of joint pain and joint swelling, the duration of morning stiffness and the number of joint tenderness in the two groups were less than before treatment, and the observation group was less than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-re-active protein(CRP)],erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESA)and immune indicators[serum immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)]in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Celecoxib can improve the clinical symptoms of RA patients, reduce inflammatory reaction and improve im-mune function, with few adverse reactions.
